The breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety of options.
The room felt a bit dated, especially the decor and fixtures.

Comfortable Stay with Great Staff Support!
Our family enjoyed a delightful one-night stay. The room was cozy and clean, a perfect setup for our group. We appreciated the attentive staff, especially during a brief power outage that turned into a fun candlelit dinner experience. Highly recommend trying the local dishes in the restaurant!

Plenty of character with a unique layout—navigating the twists and turns to the rooms added a bit of charm. Breakfast showcased a variety of cereals and fresh options that could suit any morning mood.
Rooms could use a refresh. decor veers into 'dated' territory. Some plumbing quirks, like inconsistent heating, could be bothersome if you're particular about temperature changes. Noise from the restaurant may intrude on your evening relaxation, especially if you’re hoping for a quiet night after a long journey.

Had a blast with my friends! We enjoyed exploring the wonders of the universe at a fun centre and soaking up history in the city. The friendly staff, cozy seating areas, and perfect location really made our stay memorable. A great spot for group trips!
The reception area wasn't as clean as it could be. Dust was noticeable, and the leftover debris on the coffee table was off-putting. A simple deep clean could go a long way here.

I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the funky bar with its great food plus the delightful garden to relax in after a busy day. The only downside was that the bedside lights in my room weren’t working, but it didn’t put a damper on my trip. I highly recommend trying the smoked haddock at breakfast – it was fantastic! 😊

Couples looking for a comfy stay
Had an amazing experience with their full English breakfast, just what you need to kickstart the day. The staff was incredibly friendly, even going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, like hot drinks refilled daily.
It wasn't exactly a steal, but the quality made it worth it.

Charming bar area, convenient location near Cotswolds attractions, outdoor garden for relaxation
The reception area could use a thorough cleaning!!! Mold in the bathroom and outdated decor make for an uninviting atmosphere!!! Shower pressure issues made bathing a frustration!!!

A cozy stopover!
Spent a night here on our way to the Cotswolds. The rooms were super spacious and comfy! Staff were really friendly and bent over backwards to help us. Dinner was delightful, and breakfast was just as good. Bathroom looked a bit worn out, but it didn't ruin our stay. A lovely village atmosphere made it even better.
